Start with your situation

Start with the problem, not the machine

Liverpool enquiries normally begin in one of two places: an existing agreement that needs reviewing, or a requirement for new equipment. The route is different, so we treat it differently.

Already have photocopiers or printers?

Find out what the current setup is really costing

We can compare equipment rental, cost-per-copy, print volumes, service charges, downtime, settlement position and contract structure. Sometimes changing now makes sense. Sometimes waiting is cheaper.

Compare My Current Costs

Need a new or replacement machine?

Get a recommendation based on how your people actually work

Tell us about users, A3/A4, colour, monthly volumes, scanning, finishing, apps, network requirements and anything unusual about the workflow. We can then compare suitable machines rather than forcing one brand or specification.

Why businesses stay with Camelott

Personal service, technical depth and lower total cost

The difference is not one machine or one headline price. It is how we look after the customer, solve problems and manage the whole print and scanning environment over the life of the agreement.

Treated more like friends than account numbers

We build long-term relationships. It is normally easy to speak to somebody who knows the customer, understands the requirement and has the authority to make a decision.

Whole-solution advice

We start with users, volumes, workflow, scanning, reliability and cost. If keeping the current machine, changing specification or using another brand makes more sense, we will say so.

In-house technical capability

Our own technical team installs and maintains equipment, print queues, scanning and cloud workflows, so customers have one team responsible for making the complete solution work.

Our own print and scanning infrastructure

Camelott operates its own print and scanning servers, helping simplify scan-to-email, print queues and offline cloud printing, with Microsoft 365 and Google print apps available where appropriate.

Low running costs, not just low rental

We offer low mono and colour CPC rates, no minimum billing as standard and transparent applicable charges. The aim is the lowest sensible total cost of ownership.

Reliable equipment with support behind it

Camelott is a Toshiba Gold Partner and Katun Photocopiers Partner, with new and professionally prepared used machines, in-house engineers, stocked parts and repeated industry recognition from 2020–2026.

Evidence, not just claims: the Liverpool customer examples below show the commercial savings, service relationship and used-equipment experience behind these points. The support, pricing and credentials sections explain how the technical and commercial side is delivered.

Already in a lease or service agreement?

Compare Your Liverpool Photocopier Costs — Not Just the Monthly Rental

One of our established Liverpool customers originally spoke to us because the cost of its existing print environment was too high. The business already had many photocopiers and printers and was dealing with a manufacturer, yet downtime and support were still causing problems. That is why we compare the complete commercial position before proposing another agreement.

  • Equipment rental, cost-per-copy, service charges and real print volumes
  • Remaining term, settlement position and whether changing now is commercially sensible
  • Downtime, support experience and whether the current fleet still fits the organisation
  • Recurring charges or contract structures that materially change the true cost

Our approach: the aim is the lowest sensible total cost of ownership with a service structure that works after installation. Camelott combines low mono and colour CPC rates with no minimum billing as its standard service structure, shows applicable proposal/admin costs upfront and does not add a separate toner-delivery charge.

Like-for-like quote beat guarantee: give Camelott a genuine competing quotation and we will beat it where the equipment, specification, agreement term, service structure and usage assumptions are genuinely comparable.

For a deeper explanation of cost-per-copy, included-print structures and other contract traps, see our Cheap Photocopiers Guide.

Low cost should mean low total cost

A cheap-looking lease can become an expensive photocopier

Headline rental matters, but it is only one number. The service structure, print charging, specification and support model can make a larger difference over the life of the agreement.

  • How are colour clicks counted? Check how the machine and service agreement count chargeable colour pages rather than comparing a headline rate in isolation.
  • Are you prepaying for prints you may never use? Camelott does not normally recommend bundled included-print arrangements unless there is a clear reason for the customer to request them.
  • Is there minimum billing? Camelott's standard service agreements do not use minimum billing, so an artificial minimum print volume is not charged simply because the agreement says so.
  • Are recurring IT or scanning fees actually needed? We normally configure printing and scanning correctly at installation and do not automatically add a quarterly charge for standard IT or scanning functionality that may never need attention.
  • What sits outside the headline price? Applicable proposal and administration costs should be visible before a decision is made.

The practical test: compare what the equipment will cost and how it will be supported over the period you actually expect to use it — not simply which quote has the smallest monthly number.

Indicative equipment costs

How Much Does Photocopier Leasing Cost in Liverpool?

Used photocopier leasing can start from around £20 per month for A4, £30 per month for A3 and £40 per month for higher-speed A3 equipment. The actual figure depends on age, meter count, facilities, expected usage, location, agreement term, credit approval and VAT.

A4 multifunction printer

Used A4 print, copy and scan equipment, with price depending on age, meter count, facilities and expected workload.

Used from £20 / month

A3 colour multifunction copier

Used floor-standing A3/A4 equipment with colour, scanning and optional finishing, matched to the expected workload.

Used from £30 / month

High-speed A3 multifunction copier

Used higher-speed A3 equipment for heavier workloads, with specification matched to volume, finishing and workflow.

Used from £40 / month

Why the entry price starts where it does: many leasing companies and banks set a minimum amount they will finance, commonly around £1,000, which creates a practical floor on very low-value leases. Used-machine pricing can vary substantially with age, meter count, specification, expected print volume and where the customer is located.

Indicative service costs

What Does Photocopier Cost Per Copy Look Like?

CPC can vary substantially with the machine, workload, print volume, service exposure and the customer's location relative to the servicing dealer. These figures give a more useful benchmark than quoting one rate without context.

A4 service — from

For suitable A4 equipment and usage, service can start from approximately 0.2p mono and 2p colour per page.

0.2p mono / 2p colour

A3 service — from

For suitable A3 equipment and usage, service can start from approximately 0.18p mono and 1.8p colour per page.

0.18p mono / 1.8p colour

Typical A3 rate we currently see

Around 0.3p mono and 3p colour is a useful real-world comparison point when reviewing many current A3 agreements.

~0.3p mono / 3p colour

Typical A4 rate we currently see

Around 0.5p mono and 5p colour is a useful real-world comparison point when reviewing many current A4 agreements.

~0.5p mono / 5p colour

Why CPC varies: the machine, age, duty cycle, type and volume of printing, parts exposure, service requirement and distance from the servicing dealer can all affect the correct rate. A very low CPC on the wrong machine is not automatically better value.

Preparation before proposal

Like decorating, the quality of the finish depends on the preparation

That is how we approach a photocopier proposal. We would rather spend time understanding the environment first than fire a generic quotation into an email and hope the specification fits.

The better we understand the surface underneath — the current costs, users, workflows, frustrations and future plans — the better the final result is likely to be.

  • Current equipment and costs: what you have, what it is costing and whether the agreement is helping or restricting you.
  • How people actually work: print volumes, scanning, A3/A4, colour, finishing, departments, remote users and workflow.
  • Support history: downtime, recurring faults, driver or scan problems and where the current supplier is causing frustration.
  • The IT around the machine: networks, scan-to-email, print queues, Microsoft 365, Google services and compatible apps.
  • What should happen next: lease new equipment, buy, use professionally prepared used equipment, add a device, reduce the fleet or keep the current setup for longer.

Why it matters: better preparation can mean lower costs, a better user experience and equipment that remains suitable for longer.

Real Liverpool experience

Cost started the conversation. Quality service built the relationship.

These are genuine examples of the different reasons Liverpool organisations have chosen Camelott. Customer names are omitted here; the point is the commercial problem and what happened after the equipment was supplied.

Large Liverpool rail business

Many devices, high costs and too much downtime

The customer operates a 24-hour business with many photocopiers and printers. Despite already working with a manufacturer, it was unhappy with the support it was receiving, downtime was creating problems and the overall costs were high.

Camelott reviewed the position and proposed an alternative that produced a considerable saving. Cost was the initial reason for the change, but service is what strengthened the relationship after installation.

“The service that we've received is outstanding. As we run a 24-hour business it is vital that our printers are continuously running... We have not been disappointed. Nothing is too much trouble.”

Liverpool solicitors' office

Professionally prepared used machines made commercial sense

A Liverpool solicitors' office bought used photocopiers from Camelott rather than being pushed automatically towards new equipment or a longer finance agreement.

Camelott now supports those machines. It is a useful example of why the lowest sensible total cost can sometimes come from properly selected used equipment, provided the condition, expected workload and support life make sense.

For a professional office that relies on dependable printing and scanning, low cost only works when the equipment remains supportable and the service behind it is reliable.

How Camelott Supports Liverpool from Telford

Camelott does not operate a Liverpool office. We are based in Telford and deliberately keep the service personal: we try to treat customers more like friends than account numbers, so it is normally easy to speak to somebody who understands the requirement and can make a decision or get an issue resolved. Our own engineers normally travel from Telford. Liverpool is around 90 minutes away in normal driving conditions, but that is travel time rather than a guaranteed response time; actual attendance depends on traffic, workload, engineer availability and the fault.

  • Diagnose first where possible. We take time to understand the fault before an engineer travels so the visit can be better prepared.
  • Common parts are already carried. Engineers carry common consumable and service parts in their vans.
  • Additional parts are held at our office. If the fault needs something less routine, we have further stock in Telford that can be collected and installed quickly.
  • Remote support can start sooner. Driver, print queue, scanning, software and configuration issues can often be investigated before a physical visit is needed.
  • Our own print and scanning infrastructure. Camelott operates its own print and scanning servers, helping simplify scan-to-email, print queues and offline cloud printing, with Microsoft 365 and Google print apps available where appropriate.

The goal is not simply to arrive — it is to arrive with a better understanding of the problem and, where possible, the parts needed to resolve it.

Established supplier. Genuine credentials.

The company behind your Liverpool support

Camelott does not claim to have a Liverpool office. The proof behind the service is our Telford premises, genuine manufacturer partnerships, in-house engineering team, physical equipment stock and repeated independent industry recognition.

Manufacturer partnership

Toshiba Gold Partner

Camelott is a Toshiba Gold Partner. Toshiba equipment is reliable, durable, competitively priced and produces excellent colour, making it a strong fit for many Liverpool businesses and professional organisations.

Multi-brand choice

Katun Photocopiers Partner

Camelott is also a Katun Photocopiers Partner, giving customers another quality equipment option rather than forcing every requirement into one manufacturer.

Technical capability

Our own in-house engineers

Our in-house team installs and maintains equipment, print queues, scanning and cloud workflows, backed by Camelott's own print and scanning servers, Microsoft 365 and Google print apps, plus parts, toner and equipment stock at Stafford Park.

Independent recognition

Multi-award-winning from 2020 to 2026

Camelott has received repeated SME News recognition for print solutions, managed print and customer service, most recently being named Best Office Photocopier & Printer Supplier 2026 in the Business Elite Awards.

More than print and copy

Apps, Scanning and Print Workflows for Liverpool Customers

Camelott has supplied apps to Liverpool customers and operates its own print and scanning servers. Where the device and customer environment support it, we can configure scan-to-email, print queues, offline cloud printing, Microsoft 365 and Google print apps, mobile printing and compatible workflows.

That matters because a photocopier can be mechanically reliable and still frustrate users if scanning, authentication, print queues or software are poorly configured. Our in-house technical team looks after the workflow around the device as part of the solution.

Choose the right commercial route

Lease, Buy or Rent Photocopiers in Liverpool

As a Liverpool photocopier supplier, Camelott can compare leasing, outright purchase and short-term rental rather than forcing every customer into the same commercial model. If purchase is the better fit, we can recommend new or professionally prepared used equipment. Managed Print Services remain available as a separate support option where fleet management is required.

Commercial & support questions

Liverpool Photocopier FAQs

Why choose Camelott rather than another Liverpool photocopier supplier?

Camelott combines personal service and direct access to decision-makers with in-house technical support, its own print and scanning servers, Microsoft 365 and Google print apps, low mono and colour CPC rates, no minimum billing as standard, multi-brand advice and reliable Toshiba equipment. We look at the whole requirement and total cost of ownership rather than simply selling the biggest machine or longest agreement.

Do you provide Liverpool photocopier leasing?

Yes. Camelott provides Liverpool photocopier leasing for businesses, schools and other organisations. We can compare new and professionally prepared used equipment, lease, purchase and rental options according to the requirement, budget and expected usage.

Can Camelott review my existing photocopier agreement?

Yes. We can review current equipment, rental, cost-per-copy, usage, recurring charges, settlement position and agreement dates. The aim is to establish whether changing now makes financial sense or whether waiting would be better.

How quickly can Camelott support a Liverpool customer?

Many print, scan, driver and software issues can be diagnosed remotely first. Our own engineers travel from Telford; Liverpool is around 90 minutes away in normal driving conditions, but actual on-site timing depends on traffic, workload, engineer availability and the fault.

Do your engineers bring parts with them?

Where possible, yes. We take time to understand the fault before travelling so the engineer can bring likely parts. Vans carry common consumable and service parts, and additional stock is held at our Telford office for faults that need something less routine.

Can you support Microsoft 365, Google and photocopier apps?

Yes, where the chosen equipment and customer environment support them. Camelott has supplied apps to Liverpool customers and can support printing, scanning, drivers, scan-to-email and compatible Microsoft 365, Google and mobile workflows.

Can I buy a used photocopier in Liverpool instead of leasing?

Yes. Used equipment can be a good low-cost option where its condition, support life and expected workload make commercial sense. Camelott already supports a Liverpool solicitors' office that purchased used machines from us.

What manufacturer partnerships does Camelott have?

Camelott is a Toshiba Gold Partner and a Katun Photocopiers Partner. Toshiba is often recommended because the equipment is reliable, durable, competitively priced and produces excellent colour, but Camelott remains multi-brand and specifies the solution around the customer's requirement.

Will Camelott beat a competing photocopier quote?

Yes. Camelott guarantees to beat a genuine like-for-like quotation where the equipment, specification, agreement term, service structure and usage assumptions are genuinely comparable.

Where is Camelott based?

Camelott is based in Telford and does not claim to have a Liverpool office. Liverpool customers are supported by our own engineers travelling from Telford, backed by remote diagnosis, stocked parts and technical support.
